Terms & Conditions - Franklins
  1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these conditions. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these conditions. Entries must comply with these conditions to be valid.
  2. Entry is open to residents of Australia aged 18 years or over. Employees and their immediate families of the Promoter and its agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.
  3. To enter:
    1. Purchase any two Cold Power, Dynamo, Fab, Sard, Cuddly, Fluffy, Spree or Hurricane products from the Colgate-Palmolive range of laundry care products in the same transaction from any participating Franklins store during the Promotional Period, then either:
      1. Register your contact details and submit your unique receipt number and the last 5 digits of the barcode from the two Colgate-Palmolive range of laundry care products purchased, online at www.stoptheclock.com.au by the Entry Close Date, or,
      2. Mail a completed original entry form (found in store) and submit your unique receipt number together with the last 5 digits of the barcode from the two Colgate-Palmolive range of laundry care products purchased to: Colgate-Palmolive Total Laundry Care Promotion, PO Box 547, Eastern Suburbs MC, NSW, 2004 by the Entry Close Date.
    2. Multiple entries into the promotion will be accepted, however, each entry must be sent in a separate envelope or registered separately online at www.stoptheclock.com.au. Each entry must have a separate store receipt (containing a unique receipt number).
    3. To claim the prize, a winner must provide a clear photocopy of their original Franklins store receipt to the Promoter as proof of an eligible purchase during the Promotional Period. The store receipt must pre-date the date the relevant entry was received by the Promoter.
  4. The promotion commences at 09.00 AEST on 02/06/2008 and closes at 17.00 AEST on 27/06/2008 (“Promotional Period”). Entries close at 17.00 AEST on 04/07/2008 (“Entry Close Date”).
  5. The prize draw will take place at 10.00 AEST on 11/07/2008 at Handling Matters, 1/3 Green St, Brookvale NSW, 2100.The first valid entry drawn will receive the prize.
  6. The prize consists of $5,000 awarded in the form of one $5,000 cheque.
     
    Total prize value is $5,000.
     
    All taxes (excluding GST) which may be payable as a consequence of receiving a prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.
  7. Winners will be notified by phone and in writing within 2 days of the draw. Winners’ names will be published in The Australian newspaper on 18/07/2008.
  8. Prizes are not transferable. The Promoter’s decision is final and binding - no correspondence will be entered into. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries or other communications. Entries will be deemed void if forged, manipulated or tampered with in any way.
  9. In the event that any prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter may substitute a prize of equal or greater value, subject to any written directions from the various lottery authorities.
  10. If necessary, a second chance draw will be held on 17/10/2008 at the same time and place as the first draw in order to distribute any unclaimed prizes. Winners will be notified by phone and in writing within 2 days of the unclaimed prize draw and names of any winners in the unclaimed prize draw will be published in The Australian newspaper on 25/10/2008.
  11. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered or sustained (even if caused by negligence) as a result of accepting and/or using a prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
  12. The Promoter reserves the right to request verification of age, identity, residential address of winners and any other information relevant to entry into or participation in this promotion. Verification is at the discretion of the Promoter, whose decision is final. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any individual who is involved in any way in interfering or tampering with the conduct of this promotion.
  13. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any failure to receive an entry or for inaccurate information or for any loss, damage or injury as a result of technical or telecommunications problems, including security breaches. If such problems arise, then the Promoter may (where necessary with the approval of the relevant lottery authority) modify the promotion.
  14. Details from entries will be collected and used for the purposes of conducting this promotion (which may include disclosure to third parties for the purpose of processing and conducting the promotion) and for promotional purposes surrounding this promotion. By entering this promotion entrants consent to the use of their information as described and agrees that the Promoter may use this information, or disclose it to other organisations that may use it, in any media for future promotional purposes without any further reference or payment to the entrant. Entrants may access, change and/or update their personal information and obtain a copy of the Promoter’s privacy policy by contacting the Promoter on (02) 9229 5600 during office hours.
  15. The prize winners consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice in any media for an unlimited period of time without remuneration for the purpose of promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
  16. The Promoter is Colgate-Palmolive Pty Ltd (ABN 79 002 792 163) of 345 George Street, Sydney NSW 2000.
